Sending Faxes from Microsoft Office Applications

Sending faxes from Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is easy with GoldFax. Just print any document to the GoldFax virtual printer on your network.

GoldFax will prompt the user for the fax recipent's information (fax number, name, company) and the cover page subject and message. You can also select contacts from a GoldFax personal phonebook, system-wide phonebook, Outlook contacts, or even from one of your databases GoldFax can access.

GoldFax gives you complete control and visibility into your faxing

  • You can add other documents to a fax - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc. They are automatically turned into fax pages.
  • GoldFax can notify you when the fax has been sent or if it failed (too many busy signals or invalid fax number).
  • You can see a list of faxes you have sent and their status - Pending, Sent, Failed. Just click on a fax to view it. You can also resend any fax if needed.

The GoldFax virtual printer driver on your PC communicates with the GoldFax server software running in your data center or server room. The GoldFax server has a fax board (for local phone lines or a telephone system connection) or Fax over IP software that communicates with your VoIP telephone system gateway.

With GoldFax you avoid time-wasting use of manual fax machines

NO MORE printing out documents, running to the fax machine, waiting for your turn, waiting until the fax goes through, worrying about privacy, filing faxes, and searching for sent or received faxes.
