What document types can GoldFax process?

GoldFax can "render" any document type into a fax image. If you can print it, the GoldFax printer driver software will take your document with text, color, and images and create a fax standard image for sending.

What type of server does GoldFax need?

GoldFax can run on Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2. It runs as a 32bit application. For smaller organizations, GoldFax can run on Windows 7 desktop.

How long does it take to install GoldFax?

Our technical support team can assist you with your installation and configuration over a WebEx session. If your telephone system or digital T1/E1/BRI line is set up properly and you have the server ready with the administrative permissions, the installation will take only a few hours.

How does GoldFax do Fax Over IP?

The GoldFax server uses a Brooktrout SR140 software program that communicates over your network to a gateway device (Cisco or Dialogic Media Gateway) that interfaces to your telephone system or analog land lines.

How big can GoldFax scale?

GoldFax can support up to 120 fax lines per server and an unlimited number of users.

Can I use my own fax modem / board?

Of course, if it is on the approved list of GoldFax supported modems. However, our support team will not be able to help you troubleshoot problems with your fax modem/board.
